Maboroshi no Nijimi Mincho (幻ノにじみ明朝) is a free mincho font modified based on the open source font Source Han Serif. The outlines of the characters are textured and rugged, giving a sense of retro-ness, which is great for designs especially for greeting cards, posters and so on.
It comes with complete Japanese character sets and it’s licensed under SIL Open Font License, so it’s completely free to use on any projects.
